With British phonographic Industry Gold and Platinum Awards for outstanding sales exceeding 5 million sales. •Trained under the legendary Pop music producer Mickie Most achieving 3 top ten Hits in the UK charts with BPI Gold and Platinum awards as an artiste and performer.. •One of the first people globally to successfully fuse Asian and Western music with a band called ‘Monsoon.’ •Wrote the theme tune for the 1987 Commonwealth Games, performed at the opening ceremony by a 300-piece BBC Orchestra in the presence of HRH Prince Charles. •Wrote and produced numerous million-selling singles with artists such as ‘Phil Fearon and Galaxy’ and ‘Pepsi & Shirley’ (including the No. 1 single in 7 countries, ‘Heartache’). •Appointed TV Asia’s Head of Audio in 1992 with Sky TV UK. •Recruited as a consultant for Dolphin Group’s Media Division culminating in setting up the UAE division of Dolphin Recording Studios. Acoustic consultant who project managed and built Audio/Video studios in the UK, UAE, India and Saudi Arabia. •In 1997 produced the worldwide hit ‘Yalla Bina,” on EMI Arabia with Arabic singer Dania, which sold over 400,000 units. •Tambi has since produced hit records in Hindi, Punjabi, and Seychellois. •His influence was noted in the success of Punjabi singer ‘Sukhbir’, whose 6 albums was produced and directed by Tambi.. Total sales to date for this artist have exceeded 3 million units, and he is currently enjoying success as the second largest-selling Bhangra artist in the world with gold awards from BMG music India. •Tambi has had twelve years hard experience of the UAE regional markets in both advertising and music professions with IAA awards for Sound composition on “7 UP” TV commercial. •Currently owns/operates a successful production house based in Dubai, UAE. Independently set up Tambi Studios with Acoustically designed studios, equipped with state of the art Pro Tools Audio and AVID and FCP Video equipment to meet the demands of the local advertising agencies for radio and TV production.
